BronzeBloom Arena is a visionary reinterpretation of the Shiroudi Stadium, designed as a multi-purpose indoor sports venue capable of hosting volleyball, basketball, futsal, and even imaginative sports like Quidditch. This arena merges advanced parametric design with tangible craftsmanship. Utilizing Grasshopper software, a sophisticated waffle roof structure was conceptualized, featuring square polycarbonate panels supported by a bronze-metal frame that inspired the arena’s name. With a seating capacity of 6,000, the design emphasizes accessibility, with a public entrance along the main boulevard and dedicated player access from the east, seamlessly connecting to the existing Shiroudi Sports Complex on the west. The replica construction for Architectural Technology Design 1 was crafted with laser-cut wood, celebrating the harmony between digital precision and manual assembly. BronzeBloom Arena stands not only as an homage to the legacy of Shiroudi but also as an architectural manifesto—bridging modern computational methods with the tactile soul of materiality, envisioning a new narrative for sports infrastructure in urban Tehran.
