Zhiro Café is a spatially refined neighborhood café located in the historic urban fabric of Shahr-e Rey. The design explores the intersection of texture, light, and compactness—transforming a modest footprint into a tactile, atmospheric retreat. The space is characterized by fluid terrazzo-like surfaces, integrated fixed furniture, and curated indoor planting, where pastel tones soften the architectural edges.
One of the café’s defining features is its interplay of filtered light and reflection. A suspended installation composed of linear mirrored elements creates dynamic shadows and reflections that animate the space throughout the day. The project employs minimal materiality and a tight spatial rhythm to emphasize sensory presence and calmness. Zhiro Café invites users to slow down, observe the movement of light, and engage in an interior microcosm of subtle contrasts.
